Ben Ingalls

Owner/Founder/Behavior Analyst

Ben Ingalls is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who received his BA in Sociology and English Literature from Westmont College. He then studied Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of West Florida. Ben has worked as a direct interventionist, clinical supervisor, and Lead Behavior Analyst for organizations serving adults and children in California and Hawaii.

After years working in group homes, schools, family homes, and the community - Ben started his own private practice, Pacific Behavioral Services, focused on delivering expert assessment and treatment for the challenges that matter most to children, adults, and their families. These include sleep training, toilet training, food selectivity, and problem behavior.

Ben’s practice is currently based out of Santa Barbara where he brings his wealth of expertise to improve the quality of life for families in this area. Ben is focused on continually learning and advancing his practice - his practice emphasizes mentorship and collaboration with the foremost experts in the field in the respective domains of sleep, toilet training, food selectivity, problem behavior, and positive behavior intervention and supports.

When Ben isn’t hard at work for his clients and families he is usually caring for and spending time with his family of 4 including: Heather (wife), Avery (daughter, 6), and Noah (son, 7 m). Ben enjoys sharing his love of nature including: surfing, hiking, backpacking, and ocean swimming with his daughter (and eventually his son - once he can walk).
